P48A is a useful tool any time you want to use lavalier, headset, and earset microphones, designed for wireless application, without their powering accessories!

In fact, P48A uses 48V Phantom power feed from the destination unit (mixer, preamp, etc.), connected to its main XLR connector, to supply the needed power to the microphone connected to its mini-XLR input connector. Thus you can use P48A with our XC40 (headset), XC48 (earset), XC50 (lavalier) and XC52 (headset), ass well as any other brand lavalier, headset, and earset microphone!
