Pioneer DJ have created a new series of professional DJ headphones designed to provide an experience unlike any other.

The HDJ-X10 headphones are the brand new flagship model and have been specially designed for professional DJs to use at festivals and clubs. Not only are they extremely durable, but they also reproduce frequencies other headphones simply cannot. This allows you to connect with both your music and audience on a whole new level and provides an entirely new DJing experience.

The headphones feature an entirely new audio design and, thanks to the fresh 50mm HD drivers, are the world’s first pro DJ headphones to recreate high-resolution sound, producing frequencies from 5 Hz all the way to 40 kHz. A Bass Reflex Chamber means these headphones are able to replicate the richest of bass tones as well as pristine mid to high frequencies, even when monitoring at loud volumes.

The HDJ-X10’s do not lose any sound quality because of mechanical loss, this is due to the diaphragm and voice coil working perfectly in harmony, whilst the 4-core twisted-structure headphone cable ensures you are getting flawless left and right channel separation. When using the X10s with a TOUR1 or NXS2 set-up the headphones really come into a league of their own, giving you high-definition 96 kHz/24-bit audio with amazing clarity so you can monitor better than ever before.

Each part of the slick HDJX10 has been meticulously crafted to ensure it can withstand the rigours of a DJ tour and prolonged use. Using a super-strong and durable metal construction, each HDJ-X model has cleared US Military Standard MIL-STD-810G Shock testing alongside Pioneer’s own stress testing that demands the highest quality possible from every pair. The polyurethane leather on the ear pads and headband cushioning is ultra- comfortable but also feature a water repellent nano coating that is resistant to sweat, dirt and even deterioration (providing they are regularly cleaned).

The development of the HDJ-X series relied heavily upon the feedback of professional DJs. With each prototype made, Pioneer was able to make improvements to the design of the headphones while analysing the many styles of monitoring. The stringent testing resulted in a pair of headphones that are comfortable and reliable every time you use them.

The flexible headband and housing design work together to eliminate pressure on your head while the textured outer parts mean you can quickly grab and work the headphones in a dark environment. The Pioneer HDJ-X10 headphones redefine quality and comfort. The sleek metallic design includes aluminium spin processing and diamond cutting on the housing that glimmers under club lighting.

Included in the box is a flat carry case that protects the headphones while in transit, reducing the risk of damage when you are on the road, and features an inner pocket for your accessories e.g. USB sticks or SD cards. For guaranteed long-term performance the X10’s include a 2-year warranty along with replacement parts being readily available should they be required.
